1. Sourcing Premium Douglas Fir Timber
We begin by sourcing high-quality Douglas fir timber, known for its stunning straight grain and warm tones. Only premium-grade wood is selected, typically cut into lamellas (thin layers) of 4-6mm thickness. Each piece undergoes kiln-drying to reduce moisture content to optimal levels, ensuring stability and preventing future warping or shrinkage.

2. Creating the Engineered Wood Core
​To ensure durability and dimensional stability, the kiln-dried Douglas fir lamellas are glued onto a strong base. The base is typically made of softwood or birch plywood.

• Softwood Core: This option provides a lightweight yet durable structure, ideal for areas with moderate foot traffic.
• Birch Plywood Core: A more robust option, birch plywood ensures superior stability, especially in environments with fluctuating humidity or temperature, such as homes with underfloor heating.

The lamellas and core are bonded using industrial-grade adhesives that withstand both time and environmental stress, creating a composite material stronger than solid wood.

3. Precision Profiling: Tongue and Groove with Micro Bevels
