Selecting the right wood flooring involves far more than choosing a colour. The tone, grain, grade, texture, finish, pattern and construction all shape how the floor looks, feels and performs within a space.
Hoff Parquet samples allow you to experience the material first-hand—viewing it in your project’s natural and artificial lighting and comparing it alongside furniture, cabinetry, fabrics and other interior finishes.
For residential projects, samples help reveal how a floor will complement the character of the home and everyday living. For commercial and hospitality interiors, they provide valuable insight into the appearance, texture and suitability of the chosen specification across a larger scheme.
Each Hoff Parquet sample is carefully prepared to represent the selected product’s colour, finish, grade and surface texture. As wood is a natural material, every board carries its own distinctive grain and tonal variation—part of what makes each floor truly unique.
Whether you are designing a contemporary home, restoring a period property or specifying flooring for a large commercial project, our samples bring clarity, confidence and inspiration to your decision.
Why comparing wood samples is essential for selecting the perfect surface for your project.
Wood flooring is a long-term investment that shapes the character, atmosphere and functionality of an interior. While digital imagery offers inspiration, it cannot fully capture the depth of colour, natural grain, surface texture or subtle tonal variation of real wood. A physical sample allows you to experience the material properly, in the context of your own space.
For residential interiors, samples reveal how each surface responds to natural daylight, artificial lighting, furniture, cabinetry and surrounding finishes. For commercial and hospitality projects, they support a more considered assessment of colour, texture, grade and suitability within the wider design concept.
A sample also lets you feel the finish, examine the craftsmanship and observe how the wood changes in appearance throughout the day. At Hoff Parquet, we recommend comparing several options side by side. This often makes the differences immediately clear and helps you select the right wood surface with confidence—both aesthetically and technically.
