About Old Beryllium 1:

OLD BERYLLIUM 1 chevron parquet flooring is a deeply expressive European oak floor distinguished by its mineral, time-aged character and refined craftsmanship. Produced from premium engineered European oak, this floor is finished using a reactive staining and oil treatment process, allowing the colour to evolve naturally within the wood rather than forming a surface layer.
The reactive stain interacts with the oak’s natural tannins, generating layered tones, soft contrasts, and subtle irregularity that give the floor its authentic, lived-in presence. Each board develops its own character, resulting in a parquet surface rich in depth and visual movement. The process is completed with eco oil and sealed using an ultra-matt hardwax oil, which penetrates the timber to enhance grain definition while maintaining a natural, breathable surface.
Crucially, the advanced finishing system is protected from yellowing, ensuring long-term colour stability and preserving the nuanced balance of tones even in bright or sun-exposed interiors.
