Nr 30 - Engineered Oak Wood Flooring features European oak that has been gently smoked, a process that darkens the natural colour of the timber and enhances the grain with deeper, richer tones. This is not a natural oak colour — the smoking process reacts with the oak’s tannins to create a warmer, darker appearance with subtle depth and organic variation.
The oak is first sanded and then very gently brushed, just enough to reveal the wood’s natural structure while maintaining a refined, smooth surface. The floor is finished with a natural hardwax oil, which protects the timber while preserving its breathable, tactile quality and delivering a soft matt appearance. The result is a darkened, smoked oak floor that feels natural yet more expressive — understated, elegant, and timeless rather than raw or pale. Ideal for:
