Polar Ash

Polar Ash is a European ash floor that is gently brushed and then finished with a white hard-wax oil, giving a crisp, near-white surface with a soft texture. It suits minimalist homes, galleries and boutique spaces where the floor should feel light and quiet.

Brushing first lets the white pigment lodge in the opened pores, creating a fine whitewashed pattern rather than a flat paint-like colour. Engineered planks combine a 4mm or 6mm ash surface with an overall thickness of 13mm, 16mm or 21mm, in widths from 140mm to 200mm, or 220-400mm for a wide plank white ash floor. Solid 28mm ash is offered in 200mm, 250mm and 300mm widths.
