About Tumbled 003

Tumbled 003 is a natural mid-brown engineered oak herringbone parquet, tumbled for softened edges and an aged surface. It is the most classic shade in the tumbled range, suited to Edinburgh tenement flats, Victorian villas and any room that should feel like the floor has always been there.

The natural tone lets the oak's grain and colour variation show, while the tumbling takes off the sharp, new look of machined blocks. Blocks come 80mm, 100mm, 120mm or 140mm wide and from 400mm to 800mm long, with bespoke sizes on request; wider, longer blocks give a bolder zig-zag.

Underneath is an engineered tongue-and-groove base, 13mm to 21mm thick, carrying a 4mm or 6mm oak surface, so it can be fully bonded over underfloor heating, keeping the surface to a 27°C maximum.
