Basket Weave Parquet American Walnut

Basket Weave Parquet American Walnut is an engineered American black walnut floor laid in a woven pattern, finished with natural oil and hard-wax oil. Its rich chocolate-brown timber makes it an elegant choice for drawing rooms, libraries and luxury hotel suites.

In a basket weave, small groups of parallel blocks are set at right angles to the neighbouring groups, so the floor looks like woven cane. Walnut's dark heartwood and paler streaks give each square its own character.

The floor is engineered at 16mm with a 4mm walnut top layer or 21mm with 6mm, using tongue-and-groove joints. It is fully bonded on site and suits underfloor heating, keeping the surface no warmer than 27°C.

Block widths and lengths vary by design, so please contact us for sizes; samples are supplied for quality and colour reference. A light mop with Hoff Parquet Cleaner and occasional Hoff Parquet Wax Refresher keep walnut looking rich. Walnut basket weave parquet looks stunning with cream walls and brass. Available in 16mm (4mm top layer) or 21mm (6mm top layer) engineered construction, with micro-bevelled or square edges, in Natural and Select grades.
