Thermo Wood Decking 004

Thermo Wood Decking 004 is a 26mm x 117mm flat-faced deck board in thermally modified pine, finished with crisp, only slightly eased edges. It gives a clean, architectural line, so it works especially well alongside modern homes, rendered walls and large glazed doors.

Where other boards in the range are rounded or grooved, this one keeps a plain, flat profile that lets the grain and natural knots of the AB grade pine do the talking. The wide face means fewer boards per square metre, and heat treatment keeps them straight and stable outdoors. Expect a deep caramel colour at first, mellowing towards silver-grey if left uncoated.

• Flat face and sharp detailing for contemporary schemes
• 117mm width with 26mm thickness for a solid underfoot feel
• Hidden fixings, no screws breaking up the surface
• Long boards up to 5000mm for seamless runs
• Low upkeep: brush, wash and optionally re-oil

Ventilation beneath the deck is the key to a long life, so allow airflow at the perimeter and keep boards clear of soil. Use the same species in thermo wood wall cladding for planters, steps and screens. Visit our Edinburgh showroom at 37 Comiston Road or order a sample online. Available in lengths from 2400mm to 5000mm.
