About Thermo Wood Wall Cladding 009

Thermo Wood Wall Cladding 009 is a slim 19mm x 68mm square-edged batten in thermally modified pine. It is designed for open, gapped cladding where each slat is fixed individually, creating a light, airy screen with the warm caramel colour of thermowood.

Narrow slats like these are a favourite for garden screens, fence infills, bin and plant enclosures, and modern rainscreen facades. You choose the gap between slats, so the same board can give near-total privacy or an open, see-through effect. The heat treatment makes this light section stable enough to stay straight between fixings.

Use spacers to keep gaps even, fix with two stainless screws at each support and pre-drill near the ends. On a facade, add a dark breather membrane behind the gaps. Combine with thermo wood decking for a finished garden. Order samples online. Available in lengths from 2400mm to 5000mm.
