About Thermo Wood Wall Cladding 012

Thermo Wood Wall Cladding 012 is a 19mm x 140mm square-edged board in thermally modified pine, the widest of our plain-edged cladding boards. It shows off long stretches of grain and suits large elevations, tall fences and board-on-board facades.

Wide boards cover ground quickly and make fixing more efficient, which matters on bigger residential and commercial jobs. Board-on-board fitting, with one layer overlapping the gaps of the other, gives full privacy with a strong three-dimensional texture. Thermal modification keeps the pine stable, so wide boards are less prone to cupping than untreated softwood.

Use two fixings per board at each batten and keep a ventilated cavity behind any wall cladding. Left uncoated, it mellows to silver-grey. Coordinate with thermo wood decking for paths and terraces.
