About Thermo Wood Wall Cladding 013

Thermo Wood Wall Cladding 013 is a 19mm x 68mm thermally modified pine board with angled, rhombus-shaped edges. Fixed with small gaps between boards, the slanted edges let water drain outwards and hide most of the battens behind, giving a crisp, contemporary open-joint facade.

Rhombus cladding is widely used on modern houses, extensions and commercial buildings because it combines a slatted look with good weather shedding. This slim 68mm version creates a fine, densely lined elevation. Thermal modification gives it the stability that open-joint cladding needs, since each board is exposed on all sides.

Fix with stainless steel screws or hidden clips onto treated battens, with a UV-stable membrane behind the gaps. Leave the timber to silver naturally or oil to retain colour.
