Our Classic grade composite wood decking boards have a lightweight honeycomb design. They are more popular with homeowners than with commercial clients. These boards have narrow grooves on one side and a flat surface on the other, both of which can be used. We recommend installing them with the grooved side facing up for a sturdy, anti-slip surface. Our WPC decking boards are easy to clean and need very little maintenance.

About Sand Composite Decking

Sand Composite Decking is a pale beige Classic grade composite board that keeps outdoor spaces light and bright. It is aimed at domestic gardens, decks beside the house and seating areas where a soft natural colour suits the planting.

Lighter shades make a small courtyard feel larger, so Sand is a sensible pick for compact city gardens. Each 145mm-wide board is 28mm thick, comes in lengths up to 6 metres and has a honeycomb core that saves weight.

Both faces are usable: a narrow-grooved side and a smooth flat side. Fit it grooved side uppermost for the best grip in wet Scottish weather. Keep air moving beneath the deck and give the subframe a slight fall so rainwater runs off.
