About the Groove Solid Oak Chopping Board

Groove is a long, narrow chopping board cut from solid oak and shaped by milling. Its slim format fits easily beside a hob or on a small worktop, and it is just as practical for slicing bread, cheese or herbs as for chopping vegetables.

It is handmade in Europe and impregnated with food-grade oil, which seals the surface and brings out the colour and grain of the oak. A little extra oil now and then keeps the surface supple, and it is best washed by hand rather than left to soak.

When the cooking is done, bring the board to the table as a rustic serving platter for charcuterie, cheeses or warm bread. It fits in with modern and traditional kitchens alike.
