Furniture made from the same wood as our floors

We have spent years helping people choose oak for their floors, and the question that follows is nearly always the same: what furniture will sit well on it? This collection is our answer. This range is sold online only – it is not on display in our Morningside showroom. Every piece is made from solid oak by a small European workshop, finished with natural oils and waxes, and built to order in the size and colour you pick – from a raw, almost untreated look to bleached, smoked, graphite or dark oak.

Choose a dining table and matching chairs, a sideboard or TV cabinet for the living room, a bed and bedside cabinets, or a desk for the home office. You will also find oak chopping boards, trays, bowls and desk accessories in the same finishes. Prices are shown before VAT, and a single delivery charge covers your whole order to UK mainland addresses.

How ordering works

  • Made to order – each piece is built after you order, in the size, oak colour and options you choose. Delivery usually takes 4–8 weeks, and we confirm the date with you by email. Pieces marked “Quick delivery” come in a limited choice of colours and reach you sooner.
  • Delivery – £15 for an order of oak accessories only, £210 per order for smaller furniture (chairs, stools, lamps, coffee and side tables, bedside cabinets), £300 per order when it includes a larger piece (tables, desks, storage, beds, sofas). One charge covers the whole order – the highest one applies.
  • Finish – natural oils and waxes with a water- and stain-repellent coating; the finish can be refreshed at home with the right care oil.
  • Colour samples – borrow our oak colour samples or the upholstery fabric book for a refundable deposit before you decide.
  • Fabric choices – for sofas, armchairs and upholstered chairs, write your fabric colour in the order notes at checkout.
  • Matching floors – planning a new wood floor as well? We can match the oak tone of your furniture to our flooring range, or the other way round.

Frequently asked questions

Is this furniture solid oak or veneer?

The tables, chairs, storage, beds and desks are made from solid oak. Upholstered pieces have solid oak frames or legs, and the lamps combine solid oak with their light fittings – each product page lists the materials.

Can I see the furniture in your Edinburgh showroom?

The furniture is sold online only and is not on display in our showroom, but we are happy to send photos, talk you through sizes and colours, and show you our oak flooring colours in Morningside.

How long does delivery take?

Every piece is made to order, so delivery usually takes 4–8 weeks. We confirm the expected date by email once your order is placed and arrange a delivery day with you before it is dispatched. Quick-delivery pieces, offered in a limited choice of colours, arrive sooner.

Do I need to assemble the furniture?

Some pieces arrive fully assembled and others need simple assembly, such as fitting table legs. Each product page says how that piece is delivered.
