The property required a natural wood floor that would complement its contemporary architecture while introducing warmth, texture and timeless character. The client selected our beautiful “Royal White” finish—a refined, softly white-toned oak that creates a bright and understated interior.

Straightforward Glue-Down Installation
Following an assessment of the new-build subfloor, our Edinburgh wood flooring fitters completed a straightforward glue-down installation. Each engineered oak plank was bonded directly to the prepared subfloor using a professional flexible wood flooring adhesive.
The glue-down method provides a firm and stable floor with reduced movement and a solid feeling underfoot. Careful setting out ensured that the long planks flowed naturally through the interior, while precise cutting and finishing produced clean details around walls, doorways and architectural features.
