About Natural Live Edge Wood Flooring

Natural Live Edge Wood Flooring is clear-oiled engineered European oak cut along the tree's own outline, giving the closest look to freshly milled timber. It suits homes where the wood itself should be the star, from open-plan kitchens to calm bedrooms.

Live edge boards are not trimmed square. Laid together to a planned layout, their curves interlock and create gentle waves across the room, something a conventional plank floor cannot do.

With no added tint you see oak's honey colour, silvery medullary rays and character knots exactly as they grew. Long sightlines in open-plan spaces show the flowing pattern at its best.

Two-layer build: 5mm oak over 12mm plywood
Fixed by gluing or nailing to the subfloor
Self-regulating underfloor heating friendly, provided the surface stays at 27°C or below
Supplied at a controlled 8% ± 2% moisture content
