About Silk Grey Live Edge Wood Flooring

Silk Grey Live Edge Wood Flooring is a soft, pale grey oak floor with meandering natural-edge boards, built as engineered parquet and finished in hard-wax oil. It is gentle and airy, and suits bedrooms, calm living spaces and Scandinavian-style interiors.

The colour carries just enough grey to cool oak's natural warmth. Combined with the wandering board lines, the result feels relaxed rather than formal.

Pale floors make rooms feel larger and brighter, a real benefit in Edinburgh tenements and north-facing flats where daylight is limited.

Light, calming tone that brightens rooms
Organic curves soften modern interiors
5mm oak wear layer on 12mm plywood
Micro bevels on all four sides
Happy over self-regulating heating, kept to a 27°C surface

Fitting is by adhesive or nails, following the specified layout plan. For upkeep, Hoff Parquet Cleaner does the regular work and Hoff Parquet Wax Refresher renews the oil.
