About Mahogany Live Edge Wood Flooring

Mahogany Live Edge Wood Flooring is a deep red-brown oak floor whose engineered boards follow the tree's edge, finished in a mahogany-toned hard-wax oil. It offers the richness of a dark, warm floor together with the organic flow of live edge.

Because the species is European oak rather than mahogany, you get oak's hardness and stability with a colour reminiscent of polished antique furniture. It looks particularly good in drawing rooms, hotel suites and traditional townhouses.

Live edge floors are supplied as a bespoke set and installed according to a layout plan, so boards lock together like a puzzle. Each is 17mm thick, with 5mm of oak over a 12mm plywood core.
