About Brown Solid Composite Decking

Brown Solid Composite Decking is a solid wood-plastic composite board in a classic mid-brown, combining the appearance of hardwood with outstanding strength. It is well suited to busy family decks, pub gardens and public walkways.

Its solid 20mm by 136mm profile resists heavy use better than hollow designs, and both faces are finished so there is no wrong way up. Boards come in lengths up to 6 metres to reduce joints across wide terraces.

The supporting joists should be set no further than 400mm apart. Solid boards can be cut at angles for diagonal and patterned layouts, and they can be fixed vertically to cover the sides of a raised deck. Keep the subframe ventilated and wash the boards when dirty; there is nothing to oil.
