About Larch Wood Flooring 001

Larch Wood Flooring 001 is natural European larch, gently brushed and finished with a natural oil that brings out its golden-orange colour and bold knots. It is a warm, characterful wide-board floor for cottages, barn conversions and relaxed family living spaces.

Larch is a softwood with a tight, wavy grain and darker knots, and brushing lifts that grain so you can feel it underfoot. Engineered larch boards are 16mm or 21mm thick and 200mm or 250mm wide, with random lengths of 1-5m or room-length boards up to 10m long.

Engineered larch is suitable for underfloor heating, keeping the surface at no more than 27°C, and is usually fully bonded. Solid larch comes in 20mm, 28mm and 35mm thicknesses with room lengths up to 5m, ideal for nailing to joists.
