About Larch Wood Flooring 003

Larch Wood Flooring 003 is brushed European larch finished with a raw white oil, which keeps the boards looking as if freshly planed and unfinished. Pale, natural and slightly creamy, it suits Nordic-style homes, cabins and calm contemporary interiors.

A raw finish counteracts the yellowing that untreated larch shows over time, so the floor stays closer to the colour of fresh-cut timber. Knots remain clearly visible, giving honest character. For engineered raw larch flooring, choose 16mm or 21mm boards, 200mm or 250mm wide, in room-length planks up to 10m or random 1-5m lengths.

Solid boards are 20mm, 28mm or 35mm thick and up to 5m long, normally nailed to joists; the engineered option suits underfloor heating where the surface is held at 27°C or under.
