Square Wood Flooring - American Black Walnut

Square Wood Flooring in American Black Walnut is an engineered walnut floor laid in a geometric square pattern: groups of planks set at right angles to one another form alternating squares, creating a calm, architectural chequerboard of grain directions across the room.

American black walnut brings a naturally rich chocolate-brown colour, with lighter caramel tones, soft streaks and flowing figure that change from board to board. Laid in squares, every second block catches the light differently, so the pattern shifts in tone through the day without any stain or colour added. Finished in a natural oil or hardwax oil, it keeps a warm, low-sheen surface that is easy to maintain and repair locally.

• Engineered American black walnut on a stable multi-layer base, 16 mm or 21 mm thick
• Planks 160–300 mm wide, with micro, normal or square edges
• Rustic, Natural, Select or Premium grade
• Suitable for underfloor heating when fully bonded (max. 27°C floor surface)
• Supplied unfinished, oiled or in a colour from our collections
