New Build House in East Linton, Scotland with our Engineered European Oak Chevron Parquet Flooring
In a quaint corner of East Lothian, Scotland, we had the privilege of supplying and installing exquisite engineered European oak flooring for a beautiful new build house in the picturesque village of East Linton. To elevate the interior charm, we opted for the timeless and elegant chevron parquet flooring, which perfectly complemented the classic aesthetic of the house.
To achieve a truly bespoke finish, we treated the chevron parquet flooring with Rubio Monocoat oil. For this project, we went a step further and skillfully blended two distinct oils, creating a unique and enchanting tone that perfectly harmonized with the overall design scheme of the house. The resulting finish not only brought out the natural beauty of the European oak but also added a touch of warmth and character to the space. As the house was still in its pristine state, the chevron parquet installation process was straightforward and efficient. The empty space allowed our team to work meticulously, ensuring that every chevron piece was meticulously laid to create a seamless and sophisticated look. The flooring was fitted over a meticulously screeded subfloor with wet underfloor heating, utilizing the glue-down installation method. This approach not only guarantees durability and longevity but also enhances the thermal comfort of the home during colder months. To ensure a flawless transition between rooms, we designed and produced bespoke thresholds for the chevron to meet the tiles in the bathroom. These thoughtful details not only showcased our commitment to craftsmanship but also added a touch of luxury to the overall design. Additionally, we also crafted custom solid oak stair nosing to maintain design consistency throughout the house, resulting in a stunning cohesive appearance that left a lasting impression. After the installation was complete, our team took meticulous care in cleaning the new flooring. A thorough vacuuming removed any debris or dust, followed by mopping with a specially formulated cleaner for wooden floors. This ensured the flooring retained its luster and charm, while also maintaining its pristine condition for years to come. To complete the look, elegant white MDF skirting boards were meticulously installed, adding a final touch of finesse to the interior design. The contrast between the white skirting and the rich, natural tones of the chevron parquet floor enhanced the overall aesthetic, resulting in a space that exuded elegance and sophistication. In conclusion, our collaboration with this new build house project in East Linton, East Lothian, Scotland, allowed us to showcase the beauty and timelessness of engineered European oak chevron parquet flooring. The custom Rubio Monocoat oil finish, precision installation, and thoughtful bespoke details contributed to a truly mesmerizing and luxurious living space. We take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship and unparalleled attention to detail, ensuring our clients' visions come to life in the most stunning and unforgettable way. |
