Drift Ash 002 wall panels are handcrafted from premium solid European ash and finished with invisible wood look hardwax oil, designed to preserve the raw and natural appearance of freshly milled timber while providing durable surface protection. The ultra-natural matte finish enhances the authentic character and bright tone of the ash without altering its original beauty.
Crafted using the traditional Japanese Naguri woodworking technique, the surface of each panel is carefully structured through hand-guided cutting, carving, and planing methods. This artisanal process creates distinctive rhythmic textures with remarkable depth and a sophisticated interplay of light and shadow across the timber surface. European ash is highly valued for its elegant grain patterns, strength, and naturally light appearance, making it ideal for modern Scandinavian, Japandi, minimalist, and luxury architectural interiors.
