American Walnut Versailles Design Parquet Flooring - Luxury residential apartment in London

Project Overview
For a high-end residential apartment in London, we were commissioned to supply and install premium-grade Versailles design parquet panels. The client, initially choosing between Mansion Weave Parquet and Versailles parquet, was provided with detailed visualisations of both options. Ultimately, the timeless elegance of Versailles parquet was selected for this luxury project.

​Preparation and Installation Process
The installation began with meticulous preparation of the subfloor, ensuring it was perfectly levelled through screeding. Once level, a Damp Proof Membrane (DPM) was applied to protect the flooring from potential moisture ingress. This crucial step ensures the longevity and stability of the wood.
For the Versailles parquet installation, the panels were carefully aligned and fitted to create a seamless, intricate pattern. Each panel required precision in placement to achieve the desired symmetrical look. Our team paid close attention to the joints, ensuring tight seams between each panel for a flawless finish.

Bespoke Elements
In addition to the parquet flooring, we produced bespoke American walnut skirting boards, custom-matched to the colour and finish of the Versailles parquet. This added a cohesive, luxurious touch, blending seamlessly with the flooring.

The Final Result
The completed project delivered a truly unique and luxurious classic design. The Versailles Parquet, paired with bespoke skirting boards, became a statement feature of the apartment, elevating the entire space with its timeless, sophisticated appeal.
