Cotton

Cotton Solid Oak is light smoked solid European oak flooring, sanded and finished with eco-friendly oil. Smoking reacts with the tannins in oak to deepen its colour from within, giving a sophisticated tone with enhanced grain contrast that suits luxury homes, heritage renovations and modern-classic interiors.

Unlike stained floors, a smoked colour runs into the timber, so the character survives light sanding later on. Cotton is supplied as 15mm or 21mm tongue and groove boards in widths of 140mm, 160mm and 180mm, with mixed lengths from 600mm to 1600mm that give a natural, random-laid look.

• Smoked solid oak with a breathable eco oil finish
• Thick wear surface that can be re-sanded many times
• Nail down over joists or plywood, or glue to a level screed
• Edge options: micro bevels or square edges, two or four sides
• Four grades: Rustic, Natural, Select, Prime

If you plan underfloor heating, we usually recommend the engineered version instead, as solid boards should only go over heating that is approved for them. Hoff Parquet Cleaner and Hoff Parquet Wax Refresher keep the smoked tone looking rich. Also available as Cotton engineered oak flooring. Ask for a sample or call in at our Morningside showroom.
