About Sand Solid Oak

Sand Solid Oak is natural solid European oak, sanded smooth and finished with eco-friendly oil in a soft, sandy tone. Inspired by Baltic dunes, it brings quiet warmth to Scandinavian, coastal and classic homes and is a long-standing favourite with our London clients.

The oil enhances the oak's own colour rather than changing it, leaving a smooth, calm surface that opens up a room. Solid boards can be refinished many times, so the floor ages gracefully. Board widths are 140mm, 160mm or 180mm, with 15mm or 21mm thickness and 600mm to 1600mm lengths.

Light, natural solid oak flooring
Breathable eco oil with a soft matt sheen
Install by secret nailing or gluing to the subfloor
Edge choice: micro bevels or square edges
Graded Rustic, Natural, Select or Prime

For underfloor heating, we recommend engineered Sand unless your system is approved for solid boards. Clean with Hoff Parquet Cleaner and nourish with Hoff Parquet Wax Refresher. Also available as Sand engineered oak, plus herringbone and chevron. Order samples or visit our Edinburgh showroom.
