A slim, freestanding solid oak bookcase that stands 194 cm tall. Its open structure lets light pass through, so it works against a wall or as a divider between zones.

The wood options run from light bleached and raw oak, through natural and medium oak, to richer smoked, graphite and dark oak, so you can match the shelves to your floor or walls.

About the Filo Solid Oak Standing Bookcase

This is a bookcase designed to be seen from more than one angle. The frame is slender, the proportions are tall and quiet, and the open structure shows off whatever you place on it, whether that is books, ceramics or a few well-chosen objects. Soft rounding on the edges keeps the whole thing gentle to the eye.

Because nothing is closed off, it can leave the wall behind. Stood in the middle of an open-plan room, it separates the sofa from the dining table or marks out a desk corner without blocking daylight, which is useful in modern flats where one large room has to do several jobs. Against a wall it behaves like a refined, upright shelving unit, equally at home in a study, a hallway or a living room.

At 194 cm it works with the tall ceilings of Georgian and Victorian houses as well as lower modern ones, and the shallow 30 cm depth means it takes up little floor space.
