A solid oak TV cabinet with hammered-look fronts and no handles. A light press opens the doors, and an open shelf keeps audio equipment in view and within easy reach.

Wood options span pale bleached and raw oak, natural and medium oak, and deeper smoked, graphite and dark oak, all of which show off the textured fronts differently.

About the Pino Solid Oak TV Cabinet

Where the Filo cabinet is smooth and soft, the Pino is all about surface. The fronts carry a hammered texture that catches the light and shifts through the day, so even a plain living room wall gets a bit of movement. Against it, the oak grain becomes part of the pattern.

The doors have no handles. A gentle push opens each one by the tip-on mechanism, which keeps the front uninterrupted and lets the texture run clean from end to end. It is a neat fit for a room where you want the cabinet to look calm when the television is off.

Not everything is behind a door. An open shelf is built in for audio equipment, so the space beneath the screen is organised rather than hidden away. The cabinet is 45 cm deep and 55 cm high, a little taller and deeper than many slim units, which gives it a more substantial presence.

It looks good in a high-ceilinged Edinburgh tenement living room, where a strong piece can balance big windows and cornicing, and in a modern flat where it adds warmth to white walls.
