Natural oil & wax finish, stain-repellent coating

A small round side table in solid oak, raised on a single sculpted leg. Choose a lower height for beside a sofa or a taller one for use as a bedside table.

The wood colour options are natural, raw, bleached, smoked, graphite, dark and medium oak, each a finish applied to the same solid oak, so choose whichever suits your room and floor.

Dimensions: diameter 35cm. Height 55cm or 65cm, as chosen in the options.

Material: 100% solid oak.

Finish: natural oils and waxes approved for food contact and for children's toys (EN1186, EN 71-3), with a hydrophobic, stain- and water-repellent coating on the top. The coating requires periodic impregnation.

Delivery: delivered across the UK; the table arrives fully assembled.

About the Hoya Solid Oak Side Table

Hoya is a small table with a lot of character. A round top rests on one flowing solid oak leg, so there is nothing to knock your shins on and nothing to clutter the floor around it. The curves are soft, with no sharp edges, and the whole piece is handmade in Europe from solid oak and made to order.

At only 35cm across it slips into places larger tables cannot reach. Put it next to an armchair in a bay window, at the end of a sofa in a small tenement lounge, or beside the bed in a bedroom where space is limited. It also works in a home office as somewhere to put a coffee cup beside the desk. The two available heights give you a choice between a low table at sofa-arm level and a taller one that sits closer to a mattress or a high-backed chair.

Visually it is quiet enough for a minimalist flat and warm enough for a Georgian or Victorian room, where the natural grain stands out against painted walls and period mouldings. Because the grain differs from one table to the next, each one is slightly unique.

Hoya is part of a family of pieces with matching soft lines, so you can combine it with the Hoya 3-Seater Sofa with Solid Oak Frame for a consistent look in the living room.
