Kiko Solid Oak Bedside Cabinet

About the Kiko Solid Oak Bedside Cabinet

This little cabinet is fixed to the wall beside the bed rather than resting on the floor. Leaving the space underneath open makes a small bedroom look larger, and it makes sweeping or vacuuming under the bed less of a chore.

The cabinet measures 35cm wide, 35cm deep and 28cm high, and carries the rounded edges that give the Kiko range its gentle look. A single drawer holds the things you want within reach at bedtime, such as a book, glasses, jewellery or a hand cream. The top has room for a small lamp or a glass of water.

Made of solid wood by hand in Europe, it has the natural warmth you would expect from oak. The surface is finished with natural oils and waxes and a hydrophobic coating that resists water and stains. Depending on the version, it either arrives complete or for self-assembly, so please contact us if you need to know which applies.

Because it hangs on the wall, you can place it at whatever height suits your bed, which is helpful with a low platform bed or a mattress that sits higher than average. It is a good fit for a compact bedroom in a modern flat or a tenement room with little space to spare, and it sits easily in Scandi, Japanese and boho-inspired schemes.

It is designed to complement the Kiko Solid Oak Bed, and it also pairs with the Kiko Solid Oak Daybed in a guest room.
