About Intensive Black Solid Oak
Intensive Black Solid Oak is sanded solid European oak stained a deep black and finished with eco-friendly oil. It makes a bold, modern statement in minimalist homes, restaurants, boutiques and galleries, while the oak grain still shows through the colour.
A black floor shows dust and light scratches more than a mid-tone, so it rewards a regular cleaning routine; the payoff is a dramatic, architectural base for white walls and pale furniture. Being solid, the boards can be sanded and re-stained in future. Thickness options are 15mm or 21mm, widths 140mm, 160mm or 180mm, and lengths 600mm to 1600mm.
- Black solid oak flooring with visible grain
- Eco oil finish with a soft matt sheen
- Fixed by secret nailing or full adhesive
- Choose bevelled or square edges
- Available in Rustic, Natural, Select and Prime
Underfloor heating is not ideal for solid boards unless approved; we suggest the engineered version for heated rooms. Clean with Hoff Parquet Cleaner and renew with Hoff Parquet Wax Refresher. Also available as Intensive Black engineered oak. Order a sample or see it at our Edinburgh showroom.
