About Invisible Solid Oak

Invisible Solid Oak is natural solid European oak, sanded to a smooth finish and treated with an eco-friendly invisible oil. It keeps the pale, raw look of freshly cut oak with no added gloss or colour, suiting Nordic, minimalist and contemporary homes.

The invisible oil protects the timber without warming it towards amber, so the floor looks almost untreated. The smooth surface keeps the grain subtle and calm. The tongue and groove boards come in two thicknesses (15mm and 21mm), three widths (140mm, 160mm, 180mm) and lengths of 600mm to 1600mm; solid construction means they can be re-sanded many times.

For underfloor heating we recommend the engineered board, unless your system is approved for solid wood.
