Kashmyr

Kashmyr is a structured solid oak floor: tongue-and-groove planks brushed to lift the grain, then finished with an eco-friendly oil. Its soft grey tone and tactile surface suit country kitchens, busy family hallways and relaxed open-plan living.

Structuring takes away some of the softer timber between the growth rings, leaving a gently ridged texture you can feel underfoot. That texture also helps to disguise light scuffs and paw marks, which makes this textured grey oak floor a practical choice for homes with children or dogs.

Choose 15mm or 21mm boards in 140mm, 160mm or 180mm widths, in lengths from 600mm up to 1600mm, with edges either micro bevelled or square on two or four sides. As solid wood, Kashmyr is nailed or glued down and can be sanded and re-oiled years from now. Over underfloor heating, choose engineered oak unless a solid installation has been specifically approved.
