1. Prepare the Subfloor: Ensure the subfloor is level, clean, and dry. For rooms with underfloor heating, stabilise the temperature a few days before installation to avoid movement.
   
2. Acclimate the Wood: Allow the oak blocks to acclimate in the installation area for 48-72 hours to minimise post-installation movement.
   
3. Precise Pattern Layout: Begin laying from a central point, placing each block at a 90-degree angle to form the herringbone "V" pattern. Use adhesive in small sections to ensure each piece is firmly set.
   
4. Sanding and Finishing: Once installed, sand the unfinished surface to achieve smoothness and evenness. Apply your chosen finish—oil, hardwax, or lacquer—to protect and enhance the natural beauty of the select-grade oak.
