Handmade in Europe from solid oak
Natural oil & wax finish, stain-repellent coating

A solid oak dining table made from full-length lamellas, with a chamfered top and tapered round legs. Add one or two 50cm leaves that store out of sight inside the table.

The wood colour options are natural, raw, bleached, smoked, graphite, dark and medium oak, each a finish applied to the same solid oak, so choose whichever suits your room and floor.

Dimensions: height 77cm, top thickness 2cm. Width and length as chosen in the options; extension leaves are 50cm each.

Material: 100% solid oak, made from wide, full-length lamellas without finger joints.

Finish: natural oils and waxes approved for food contact and for children's toys (EN1186, EN 71-3), with a hydrophobic, stain- and water-repellent coating. The coating requires periodic impregnation.

Delivery: delivered across the UK as flat-pack furniture for self-assembly.

About the Bocca Solid Oak Dining Table

Bocca is built for households whose dining table has to do two jobs: sit neatly on a Tuesday night, and seat everyone on Christmas Day. It is a solid oak extending table, handmade in Europe and made to order, with a clean modern outline that never shouts about its mechanism.

The top is chamfered underneath, which makes the 2cm edge look slimmer than it is, and it is made from wide, full-length oak lamellas with no finger joints, so the grain runs unbroken from one end to the other. The legs taper and are rounded, while the apron is bevelled inward to lighten the base and to leave space for the extension mechanism.

You can order it fixed, with one 50cm leaf, or with two. When not in use, the leaves are stored inside the table, so there is no cupboard of spare boards to find room for. The action is discreet and simple, which matters if you extend the table often. With several lengths and widths available, you can match the table to a narrow tenement kitchen or a long Georgian dining room.

For seating, the Hoya, Filo and Piko chairs all suit it, so you could pair it with the Filo Solid Oak Dining Chair for a set in matching oak. The oiled surface has a stain- and water-repellent coating that needs periodic impregnation to stay at its best.
