A traditional-looking solid oak table with a slender 2 cm top and hand-turned legs. Choose black, white or matching oak legs, with an optional 60 cm extension leaf.

The wood colour options range from raw and natural oak, which keep a light, true-to-wood look, through bleached, medium, smoked, dark and graphite oak, which are stained or tinted for a deeper or cooler tone; the grain stays visible in every one.

Dimensions: height 76 cm; top thickness 2 cm. Width and length as selected.
Material: solid oak top, glued from wide strips not joined at length, brushed or polished; legs hand-turned.

Finish: natural oils and waxes, plus a hydrophobic, stain- and water-repellent coating (regular impregnation required).
Extension: optional 60 cm leaf. Other leg shapes available on request.

About the Classico Solid Oak Dining Table

The Classico is the table to choose when you want a room to feel settled. A slim solid oak top, just 2 cm thick, has a slight kink along its edge that catches the light and gives it a more crafted look than a plain square edge. The top is glued from wide strips that are not jointed along their length, so the grain runs in long, calm lines.

The legs do much of the talking. Each one is turned by hand in the workshop, a slow process that depends on patience and a practised eye, and the result is a gently flowing profile with a traditional feel. You can have the legs in black, in white or in the colour of the top, so the table can be crisp and contrasting or softly blended. Other leg shapes are available on request.

Handmade in Europe and made to order, the table is finished with natural oils and waxes and a hydrophobic coating that repels water and stains. It will need regular re-impregnation to keep the surface protected.

Where it works

Its character suits country, rustic and romantic retro rooms, and it softens a more modern kitchen. In a Victorian or Georgian dining room, the turned legs echo period furniture without looking dated; in a flat, the lighter 2 cm top keeps the table from feeling heavy. For bigger gatherings, the extending option adds 60 cm.
