A solid oak dining chair with slender armrests and a gently contoured seat. Take it bare or upholstered, and pick from a range of wood colours.

The wood colour options are natural, raw, bleached, smoked, graphite, dark and medium oak, plus a black finish, all applied to the same solid oak frame.

Dimensions: seat width 50cm, seat depth 43cm, seat height approx. 45/47cm. Total width 57cm, total depth 49cm, total height 85cm.

Material: 100% solid oak.

Finish: natural oils and waxes approved for food contact and for children's toys (EN1186, EN 71-3), with a hydrophobic, stain- and water-repellent coating.

About the Filo Solid Oak Dining Chair

If you linger over meals, Filo is the chair to sit in. It is a solid oak dining chair with slim armrests, so you can rest your forearms while you talk, and a gently shaped seat that holds you comfortably well after the plates are cleared. Each chair is handmade in Europe and made to order.

The arms are slender rather than chunky, which keeps the outline light. The grain of the oak shows through, and the frame has a quietly crafted look that works with a plain table without drawing attention away from it. If you want more cushioning, choose the upholstered seat, which gives a little under you while the oak frame stays visible.

Because the arms add width, Filo is a good choice for the ends of a dining table, or for a breakfast table, a study desk or a reading corner where you want something more relaxed than a standard side chair. In a Georgian or Victorian dining room it holds its own around a larger table, and in a modern flat the clean lines keep it from crowding the space.
