A compact, armless solid oak dining chair with a contoured seat that stacks for storage. Choose a bare oak seat or an upholstered one, in a range of wood colours.

The wood colour options are natural, raw, bleached, smoked, graphite, dark and medium oak, plus a black finish, all applied to the same solid oak frame.

Dimensions: seat width 50cm, seat depth 43cm, seat height approx. 45/47cm. Total width 50cm, total depth 49cm, total height 85cm.

Material: 100% solid oak.

Finish: natural oils and waxes approved for food contact and for children's toys (EN1186, EN 71-3), with a hydrophobic, stain- and water-repellent coating.

Design: stackable, contoured seat, no armrests.

About the Vilo Solid Oak Dining Chair

Vilo is the slimmer, lighter sibling of the Filo Solid Oak Dining Chair. It drops the armrests and keeps the comfort, leaving a compact, open shape that tucks neatly under a table and lets you move around it freely. It is handmade in Europe from solid oak and made to order.

The seat is gently contoured, so it stays comfortable through a long dinner, and you can add an upholstered seat pad if you prefer something softer. The frame is also designed to stack, one chair on top of another, which is a genuine help in a small flat where six chairs need to disappear when you are not hosting. The same feature makes Vilo a sensible choice for cafes, community rooms and other shared spaces.

Without arms, the chairs can be pulled in tightly around a round or narrow table, making them a good fit for a tenement kitchen, a modern open-plan flat, or a Georgian dining room where you want extra seats without visual bulk. In a Victorian home they work well around a plain oak table alongside heavier period furniture, giving the room a lighter note.
