About the Hoya 2-Seater Sofa with Solid Oak Frame

Compact sofas often feel like a compromise. The Hoya two-seater tries to avoid that by giving a small footprint a generous, curved shape. The seat flows into the backrest in one soft line, and the oak frame is visible around the upholstery, so the sofa looks light and looks lighter than a fully upholstered sofa.

Handmade in Europe, arrives assembled

The frame is solid oak, handmade in Europe, and it is upholstered in Favola, Mare or Vinci fabric. At 160cm wide and 80cm deep overall, it fits easily into a modern flat, a bay window or the sitting room of an Edinburgh tenement, where a three-seater would swallow the floor. The 70cm seat depth and 39cm seat height set the seating position. The sofa is delivered fully assembled.

It works particularly well in minimalist and Scandinavian rooms where the palette is natural and the lines are simple, but a lighter piece like this also relieves a heavily furnished Victorian lounge. It is equally suited to a home office, studio or reception area. As part of the Hoya family it sits naturally beside the Hoya Solid Oak Console Table, the Hoya Solid Oak Dining Table and the Hoya Solid Oak Desk.
