A two-module sofa system standing on chunky solid oak legs. Combine the Corner and Open pieces into an L-shape, a long run or a loose island, and rearrange them whenever the room changes.

The wood option sets the shade of the oak legs, from pale bleached and raw oak through natural and medium oak to the deeper smoked, graphite and dark finishes.

About the Splot Modular Sofa with Solid Oak Legs

Most modular sofas come with a left corner and a right corner, and you are stuck with whichever you chose. The Splot works differently. It is built from just two upholstered modules, a Corner and an Open, and the Corner is symmetrical, so the same piece turns either way. Extend it, shorten it or split it up later and nothing has to be replaced.

Line up Open modules for a long, low sofa, add a Corner for a classic L-shape, or leave one piece standing alone as an extra seat. That freedom suits the homes we deliver to in Edinburgh: a bay-windowed Victorian drawing room, a high-ceilinged tenement living room, or a compact modern flat where the layout may change when you move on.

Each module sits on thick, cylindrical legs in solid oak, 12 cm tall, which lift the block off the floor and give the soft upholstery a firm, sculptural base. The same legs appear on the Splot Solid Oak Coffee Table, so the two make a natural pair in front of the sofa. The sofa is handmade in Europe, with solid oak legs and Baloo upholstery, and it arrives complete.
