About the Hoya Solid Oak Console Table

A console has to earn its place in a narrow space, and the Hoya does that with a slim body and gently curved lines that look drawn rather than built. At just 40cm deep it passes easily along a hallway wall without blocking the way, which matters in the narrow entrances of a tenement flat or a Victorian terrace.

Slim 40cm depth for hallways
Discreet drawer for small items
Curved, lightweight profile
Three widths: 100, 120 or 140cm

It is handmade in Europe from solid oak, and the oak is finished so the grain, knots and texture stay visible. A slim drawer is set into the front without breaking the line of the piece, so you can keep keys, post, glasses and chargers out of sight rather than scattered across the top. At 85cm high it works as a hall table and also as a low desk, dressing table or a surface behind the sofa. Choose from three widths: 100cm, 120cm or 140cm.

The Hoya reads well in modern minimalist, Scandinavian and Japanese-inspired rooms, and its softness also takes the edge off a more traditional scheme with Georgian proportions. Pair it with the Hoya Solid Oak Dining Table, the Hoya Solid Oak Dining Chair or the Hoya Solid Oak Desk to bring the same curved language through the house. Delivery is by courier; contact us if you would like to confirm assembly details before ordering.
