A solid oak dining table whose legs flare into the top in one flowing shape, with an optional 50cm leaf. Handmade in Europe, in sizes from 90 x 140cm to 100 x 240cm.

Wood colour options range from natural, raw and bleached oak through medium and smoked tones to dark and graphite, so you can match the grain to your floor and walls.

Material: 100% solid oak, glued laminated.

Extension: optional 50cm leaf; the top splits in half and the mechanism is hidden beneath. The grain does not continue across the leaf.

Finish: natural oils and waxes, plus a hydrophobic coating that repels water and stains. The surface needs periodic maintenance to keep its protection.

Delivery: by courier, as self-assembly furniture.

About the Hoya Solid Oak Dining Table

Plenty of modern tables pair a steel frame with a wooden top. The Hoya goes the other way: it is solid oak from top to toe, and it looks as if it was carved from one piece. The legs splay slightly as they rise and merge into the top, and the underside is cut back in a soft, uneven line, so the 4.5cm top looks lighter than it is.

The table is handmade in Europe from laminated solid oak and supplied for self-assembly. It can be bought fixed in size, or with one 50cm leaf for the days you have guests. The leaf is made in the classic style, with the top splitting in half and the leaf dropping in the middle, and the mechanism stays hidden underneath. Bear in mind that the grain in the leaf does not run through from the main top. Sizes range from 90 x 140cm up to 100 x 240cm.

The warm, organic feel is a good counter to cooler, hard-edged rooms, such as a modern flat with concrete or glass, and it suits Scandinavian and minimalist spaces equally.
