Hoya Solid Oak Side Table – Quick Delivery

About the Hoya Solid Oak Side Table

Hoya is a small round table that rests on a single flowing leg rather than the usual four. The result is an airy, slightly sculptural shape that looks as good in the middle of a room as it does against a wall. With no corners and no hard edges, it is a friendly piece to have around children and busy walkways.

It is handmade in Europe from solid oak, and because the wood is exposed rather than covered, the grain differs from one table to the next. A natural oil and wax finish protects the top and repels water and stains, though like any oiled surface it benefits from re-treating from time to time.

This is the quick-delivery version of an existing piece. It is offered in a limited choice of colours and made ahead of time, so it reaches you sooner than a made-to-order item.

Its small footprint makes it easy to place. Put it beside a sofa or armchair for a cup and a book, use it as a bedside table, or add it to a study corner for a lamp. It sits well with other natural materials such as wool, linen and stone, in both pared-back and more traditional rooms.
