A tall solid oak stool with a 63 cm seat height and a satin stainless steel footrest, made for kitchen islands and breakfast bars. Choose a wooden or fabric seat.

The wood colour options run from pale raw, natural and bleached oak through medium and dark oak to smoked and graphite oak, so the stool can follow your cabinetry or worktop tones.

About the Piko Solid Oak Kitchen Stool

Tall stools often look like an afterthought. This one has been designed with as much care as a dining chair, and it shows. Slightly tapered oak legs give it a light, confident stance, and two satin-finished stainless steel rods link them together, with the front rod doubling as a footrest for comfortable perching.

The seat sits 63 cm above the floor, which suits a kitchen island or breakfast bar, and the overall height is 85 cm. The seat line is shaped for ergonomic comfort, and you can pick a bare oak seat or an upholstered one in fabrics such as Favola, Mare or Vinci. The frame is solid oak, handmade in Europe, finished with natural oils and waxes and a hydrophobic coating that repels water and stains. Expect to give the finish some periodic maintenance, particularly in a busy kitchen.

The restrained, 1960s-flavoured look works in a modern flat kitchen as well as a refitted period home, and the narrow profile lets a row of stools tuck under a counter without feeling heavy. It is equally at home in a cafe or small bar, if you are fitting out a commercial space.
