A round solid oak coffee table whose tapering base is built from triangular slats. It comes in three diameters and two heights, handmade in Europe and delivered fully assembled.

Wood colour options range from natural, raw and bleached oak through medium and smoked tones to dark and graphite, so you can match the grain to your floor and walls.

Material: 100% solid oak.

Finish: natural oils and waxes, plus a hydrophobic coating that repels water and stains. The surface needs periodic maintenance to keep its protection.

About the Sole Solid Oak Round Coffee Table

Sole takes its name from the Italian for sun, and the round top does look a little like one, held up by an open base of angled triangular slats. The slats narrow towards the floor, so the table feels light even though everything is solid oak. Underneath, the top is milled back, which thins the edge visually and stops the 3.5cm slab looking heavy.

It is handmade in Europe from solid oak and arrives fully assembled, so it goes straight into the room. Three diameters let you fit it to the space: the smallest suits a snug living room or the corner of a flat, and the largest can anchor a family sofa group. Two heights, 45cm and 50cm, let you match the seat height of your sofa.

The round shape is a gift in a busy room, with no corners to catch on as you walk round it, which is useful in the narrower living rooms of an Edinburgh tenement.
